Este projeto autoral é um estudo voltado para a estética presente em composições gráficas dos anos 90, assim como a emulação das limitações gráficas e tendências da época, como parte da composição da peça.
Utilizando o gênero musical Dreampop como inspiração, busquei trazer texturas e sensações que remetem às bandas da época, especificamente Slowdive, que manteve sua identidade sonora ao longo dos anos e serviu como grande alicerce do projeto. Busquei também utilizar uma tipografia forte, sem serifa e marcante, com grande contraste entre elementos. Isso é um traço característico da época e um grande fator de apelo visual que permitiu uma animação bem direcionada com traços pouco ortodoxos.
As imagens de fundo foram escolhidas e tratadas visando reproduzir a estética presente em 'zines' independentes que, por sua vez, ilustraram e foram fonte de expressão de vários produtores independentes e bandas da época.

This personal project is a study focused on the aesthetics present in graphic compositions of the 90s, as well as the emulation of graphic limitations and trends of the time as part of the piece's composition.
Using the Dreampop music genre as inspiration, I sought to bring textures and sensations that evoke bands from that era, specifically Slowdive, which maintained its sound identity over the years and served as a significant foundation for the project. I also aimed to use a bold, sans-serif, and distinctive typography with significant contrast between elements. This is a characteristic feature of the time and a major factor in visual appeal that allowed for a well-directed animation with unconventional strokes.
The background images were chosen and treated to reproduce the aesthetics present in independent 'zines,' which, in turn, illustrated and served as a source of expression for various independent producers and bands of the time.
